Pronounced Săthv ing-ĕn kŏn-nâr

In 2007, Sadb followed a friend into a card-weaving class at the College of Rencester, and stuck around long enough to get hooked. Her interests focus on Early Medieval Irish farming and textile production, as well as medieval production of scribal materials.

Sadb has a small farm in the Kingdom of Atlantia, where she puts into practice the Irish methods that she researches. There she has horses, goats, sheep, pigs, ducks and chickens, as well as dogs and cats. When not researching, gardening, caring for livestock or shearing, combing, spinning and weaving, Sadb can also be found cooking, leatherworking, carving wood and bone tools, and sometimes practicing the scribal arts. She teaches classes on sustainable and historical farming methods to students both in the SCA and at mundane venues in Virginia.
